“My ENTIRE class of students was engaged throughout the performance and especially throughout the workshop (and any early childhood educator knows that 100% engagement is a rare thing indeed!) Students left the experience seeming joyful and inspired—when we went to recess later in the day, many students wanted to keep dancing, and showed off moves they learned in the workshop as well as dances from their own cultures or favorite media. It was a highlight, and something that children will remember and hold on to.”
