On Friday, November 10th, 2017, 6-9pm, the Black Student Union at Emmanuel College are hosting a Afro-Caribbean Night celebration! The purpose of this event is to conclude the celebration of Black History Month and celebrate Afro-Caribbean culture. There will be food from Caribbean countries like Trinidad, Dominican and from African countries like Ghana and Nigeria. The event will feature performers representing different regions on the Caribbean and Africa. The organization is hoping that this event will increase competency and awareness on campus of different regions and people groups in the African diaspora and also add to the social life on campus. This event will also be a celebration of the cultural life of students on campus that are of Caribbean and African descent.
