JAE knows that 2020 has made it extremely difficult to be close with our family and friends. Jean wanted to offer this morning Haitian Folkloric class over Zoom, in order to allow family members to connect, dance and sweat on the morning of Nov 26th. JAE wants to also impress upon the importance of honoring and supporting our Native American Family, as well as recommitting to centering their lives and stories, especially on this day of mourning.
This one hour Haitian Folkloric class begins with a full body warm up that prepares the dancer to move to several Haitian Folkloric rhythms and movements such as Yanvalou, Kongo, Petro, Ibo and Banda. This class is accessible for all movers and will be held on Thursday Nov 26th from 10-11am ET via Zoom.
This online class has a suggested donation amount of $20, and a minimum donation of $10. We appreciate your support!
