New Year's Eve Afro-Healing Workshop

JAE knows that 2020 has made it extremely difficult to be close with our family and friends, especially during the holidays. JAE will offer this afternoon Afro-Healing workshop series over Zoom, in order to allow family and friends to connect, dance and sweat on the final day of 2020! There is no better way to ring out this tumultuous year, than with our powerful dance community.

This Afro-Healing workshop will highlight three very special JAE teachers, Robenson Mathurin (Haitian), Mcebisi Xotyeni (South African) and Jean Appolon (Haitian). Registration covers the cost of all three classes.

• 1:00-1:45pm ET Robenson Mathurin- Yanvalou Haitian Folkloric Class centered around fluidity and circulating life

• 1:50-2:35pm ET Mcebisi Xotyeni - Zulu/Xhosa African Class centered around rootedness and connecting to Earth

• 2:40-3:25pm ET Jean Appolon - Petwo Haitian Folkloric Class centered around fiery energy and healing

• 3:25 Cool down and reflection
