FREE performance and Haitian dance workshop for all ages

Jean Appolon Expressions is a contemporary dance company deeply rooted in Haitian folkloric culture that celebrates, nurtures, and empowers a global community. Traka, meaning “Troubles” in Haitian Kreyòl, is an exploration into how dance, culture, and community are pathways to healing for victims of traumatic events.

After the performance, there will be a 30-minute dance workshop for all ages. The workshop will be accompanied by live drummers.
