Celebrate Haitian Flag Day with Jean Appolon Expressions on May 17, 2020, 3pm ET. In this online celebration, Jean will lead a conversation about how important this holiday is to the history and culture of Haiti. We will watch a compilation of community members performing a Haitian dance together, all video-taped in their own homes during the quarantine. We'll all get a chance to dance together at the end!
This celebration will take place on Zoom. Register in advance.

During one of Jean’s Saturday classes, Jean taught a new Ibo combination. If you record a video of yourself doing the combination and email it to us, we will add you to our video compilation of JAE community members and company dancers! Feel free to put your own spin and special style on it.
