Public Performances

Our teens have represented JAE on stage both by performing and by leading youth movement exercises.

  • March, 2018: Assisted with youth audience participation during JAE's Family Show at the Boston Center for the Arts
  • June, 2018: Dance for World Community
  • June 2018: Fest of Us at the Dance Complex
  • July 2018: Boston Youth Dance Festival at the Boston Children's Museum

Our teen apprentices take class and rehearse with Jean and company dancers three times a week.

In addition to learning about Haitian Folkloric dance and strengthening their modern technique, our teen apprentices learn about what it is like to be a part of a professional dance company. They work closely with company dancers and perform alongside them at professional venues throughout the Boston area.
