Bio
Beth is a fundraising and nonprofit leadership consultant who has worked with JAE in a pro bono capacity since 2021. A long-lapsed dancer and teacher, she is thrilled to be part of JAE’s vibrant dance community and inspired by its mission, vision, and leadership. She is grateful to contribute her fundraising expertise to support JAE’s continued growth and the creation of the JAE Dance Center.
For the past 15 years, Beth has advised hospitals, universities, arts organizations, and social service nonprofits throughout Greater Boston. Previously, she served as Vice President of Institutional Engagement at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and spent 23 years at MIT, culminating as Executive Vice President and CEO of the MIT Alumni Association. Beth is dedicated to pro bono and volunteer service.
In addition to working with JAE, she is currently working with organizations focused on food insecurity, nonprofit consulting, and anti-hate litigation. She holds a BA from the University of Cincinnati, an MA in Education (Specializing in Dance) from Stanford University, and a BoardSource Certificate in Nonprofit Board Consulting.
