Cindy Baratta

From her career spanning government, financial services, and health care, Cynthia Baratta has a broad range of senior management experience involving strategic planning, process improvement, and organizational change.

Since beginning her career as a Legislative Assistant in the U.S. Congress, Ms. Baratta has held several executive-level positions including Chief Administrative Officer for a $3 billion financial institution, Practice Administrator at Children’s Hospital Boston, and Chief Operating Officer at Lowell Community Health Center.  Most recently, as a consultant, her work has focused on managing complex projects within academic medical centers, community health centers, and other health care organizations.

Currently, Ms. Baratta serves as a Consultant with SOAR Management Consulting Group which provides pro bono consulting services to small and medium-sized non-profit organizations in the greater Boston area. In addition, she is involved with a variety of organizations which champion progressive ideas, civil rights, and social justice. 

Ms. Baratta holds a BA from Georgetown University and an MBA in Public Management from Boston University.  She lives in Cambridge, MA with her husband, Joe Flatley.
